If you're currently dealing with serious water damage from a flood, broken pipe, or other cause, you're probably not sure what to do next. While it's understandable to feel panicky, it's important that you have the water removed as quickly as possible. When structural damage and health hazards are at play, time is of the essence. The longer you wait, the worse the damage will get. The damage you see with your eyes is usually the tip of the iceberg - most water damage gets deep in your carpets and walls fast.
Atlas' water damage restoration services are focused on restoring and repairing the damage that water causes to commercial property. The primary purpose of our restoration services is to return your property to the condition it was in prior to the damage. Once your water damage has been mitigated, our team swoops in to begin the restoration process.
Depending on the scope and severity of your water damage, common water damage restoration services can include:
- Damaged Flooring and Wall Replacement
- Damaged Roof Restoration
- Mold Remediation
- Humidity and Moisture Testing
While little can be done to predict natural disasters, there are common signs you can keep an eye on to prevent serious water damage from occurring.

Common Signs of Commercial Water Damage in Grapevine, TX
There's no convenient time to be sidelined with water damage when it comes to your commercial property and business. Water damage to your commercial or industrial property is particularly devastating because every hour that your business is closed means lost revenue and productivity. You do not just have to deal with damage to the structural integrity of your building - you have to deal with the disruption of service to your loyal customers.
The good news? Atlas is here when you need us most, with a team of highly-trained technicians and unmatched water damage restoration expertise. We're ready to tackle your problem and solve it in an efficient, effective manner, so you can keep your doors open and your clients happy.
As a business owner, you know that one of the best ways to prevent a disaster is to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. For that reason, keep an eye out for the following signs of water damage to your commercial property:

Look for Mold:
Mold can begin to grow just a day or two after water has taken hold of your business. If you see small signs of mold growth in an area where you suspect a leak, contact Atlas National Renovations ASAP to diagnose the problem.

Check Your Pipes:
If it's safe to do so, check out the piping inside and outside your commercial property. You want to keep a keen eye out for oxidation and corrosion around pipe fixtures. While you're at it, check your water heater for rust too. Corrosion or rust is a telltale sign of a water leak.

Check for Rings:
Dark spots on walls and ceilings usually indicate water damage. If you see rings around a stain, the damage is probably older. Several rings with different shades of color mean an intermittent issue, where the area has been soaked and dried several times.

Understand Your Property:
This is more of a suggestion than a sign. As the commercial property owner, you should know your building's pipe system. You should know what is old and new and what areas may be at risk for water damage. Keep an extra-close eye on areas that have a higher potential for leaks, especially during rainstorms.

Fans of Meow Wolf can now apply to work at the art and entertainment company’s Grapevine location which is set to open this summer.
The Santa Fe-staple is now hiring for 80 hourly workers and paying above Texas’ minimum wage in an effort to provide livable wages in the arts, an industry that has struggled with earning disparities and pay equity. Kelly Schwartz, general manager for Meow Wolf Grapevine, said fair pay is an important part of the company’s mission.
“By compensating employees fairly, Meow Wolf can promote a culture of respect and dignity for all workers. Overall, Meow Wolf's dedication to paying a livable wage supports the well-being and success of its employees while contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive arts community,” Scwhartz said.
Meow Wolf Grapevine is hiring for four associate positions: guest services, food and beverage, retail and security. Guest services associates, food and beverage associates and retail associates will be paid starting at $18 per hour and security associates will be paid starting at $19.50 per hour.
Schwartz said wages were decided based on local market pay, job responsibilities and the cost of living in North Texas. Workers are expected to start in June.
Meow Wolf has locations in Santa Fe, Denver and Las Vegas and another permanent location is set to open in Houston in 2024. The immersive art space is known for its quirky, otherworldly rethinking of art and art spaces. North Texas artists including Dan Lam, Mariell Guzman and Yana Payusova will be featured in the new Grapevine location.
Applications are now open online.

Son of a Butcher first debuted in 2019 at Legacy Hall, the food hall in Plano, then opened its first standalone restaurant in Dallas, at an iconic location on Lower Greenville — the former Char Bar space — in December 2020.
They serve what a release calls elevated versions of nostalgic American classics, in a slider format. So, small burgers with fancy flavors.
The menu has more than 10 chef-driven slider options, with ingredients like Wagyu beef from A Bar N Ranch. There are also sides, shakes, draft beer, and frozen cocktails.
Rotating specials offer unique sliders and shakes inspired by seasonal ingredients and holiday happenings every other week.

Son of a Butcher is part of FB Society Restaurants, the group behind concepts such as Whiskey Cake, Legacy Hall, Mexican Sugar, Sixty Vines, Haywire, Food Hall Co., Vestals catering, Unlawful Brewing Company, and nonprofit Furlough Kitchen, with more concepts on the horizon.
Time for a quote.
"SoB’s indulgent waffle fries are one-of-a-kind, the shakes are down-right craveable and the sliders always steal the show," says FB Society CEO Jack Gibbons. "We are thrilled to expand the concept in the heart of the Grapevine and feel SoB is the perfect destination for the community to create memories over great food in a nostalgic atmosphere."

Bennigan’s On The Fly opened a “host” kitchen location in late November at Embassy Suites by Hilton at 2401 Bass Pro Drive, Grapevine.
The location is a host kitchen rather than a ghost kitchen, according to Bob Pascal, Franklin Junction chief revenue officer. The company runs e-commerce platforms for restaurants and partnered with the Dallas-based Bennigan’s to offer to-go orders and delivery in the Grapevine area.
The company works with professional kitchens at restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and convenience stores to optimize excess capacity, according to Pascal. The Bennigan’s brand is about one of 20 businesses that Franklin Junction partners with to sell products.
“It is a good fit for the market and their propensity for the chef-driven comfort food, and the second X factor was Bennigan’s headquarters being in Dallas,” Pascal said.
The offerings are an abridged version of Bennigan’s menu, which includes the Monte Cristo, the Kilkenny Country Chicken Salad, Buffalo wings, Hogan’s egg rolls and Sheela’s sriracha shrimp. Pascal said about one in every two orders includes the Monte Cristo.
Orders are available for lunch and dinner through online marketplaces, such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and Deliverbee. Pascal noted there is a digital-facing food hall at the hotel where people can pick up a to-go order, or hotel guests can order to their rooms.
“Our business model is partnering with proven restaurant brands,” Pascal said. “We don’t really create our own. We prefer brands that have inherent demand, and Bennigan’s fits that bill. We are excited to be in Grapevine and to add more choices from phenomenal brands like Bennigan’s.”

Grapevine Mills is known for its unique retail offerings of more than 180 stores of shopping, entertainment and restaurants.
“The growth and innovation of the Meow Wolf experience is remarkable,” says Amber Dodson, New Mexico Film Office director. “We are thrilled to see this New Mexico-based venture continue to employ so many of our world-class creative workforce.”
The project is led by Spencer Olsen, who is the senior creative director.
Olsen is working with Joshua Davisson, who is the show manager.
“Expanding the Meow Wolf universe, the Grapevine exhibition will be the next major chapter following Convergence Station which opened in Denver during September 2021,” says Dale Sheehan, executive creative director of the upcoming Grapevine and Houston Meow Wolf exhibitions. “We can’t wait to invite everyone to a new journey of exploration and art with new characters and exciting connections to our past stories and the far future.”

According to the film office, the installation will employ approximately 165 New Mexico crew members, 25 New Mexico principal artists, and 50 New Mexico background artists.
According to Meow Wolf, the locations have been on the company’s radar for over two years.
“We’ve never designed two exhibitions in the same state at the same time. The Texas experiences will be deeply rooted in artist collaboration and connected by concealed Easter eggs,” Sheehan says. “Of course, the locations themselves are also creative prompts. In Grapevine, we’ll be leaning into the energy of a shopping center – a nostalgic place for many of us, where families gather and young adults often find their first moments of freedom.”
