If you're currently dealing with serious water damage from a flood, broken pipe, or other cause, you're probably not sure what to do next. While it's understandable to feel panicky, it's important that you have the water removed as quickly as possible. When structural damage and health hazards are at play, time is of the essence. The longer you wait, the worse the damage will get. The damage you see with your eyes is usually the tip of the iceberg - most water damage gets deep in your carpets and walls fast.
Atlas' water damage restoration services are focused on restoring and repairing the damage that water causes to commercial property. The primary purpose of our restoration services is to return your property to the condition it was in prior to the damage. Once your water damage has been mitigated, our team swoops in to begin the restoration process.
Depending on the scope and severity of your water damage, common water damage restoration services can include:
- Damaged Flooring and Wall Replacement
- Damaged Roof Restoration
- Mold Remediation
- Humidity and Moisture Testing
While little can be done to predict natural disasters, there are common signs you can keep an eye on to prevent serious water damage from occurring.

Common Signs of Commercial Water Damage in Arlington, TX
There's no convenient time to be sidelined with water damage when it comes to your commercial property and business. Water damage to your commercial or industrial property is particularly devastating because every hour that your business is closed means lost revenue and productivity. You do not just have to deal with damage to the structural integrity of your building - you have to deal with the disruption of service to your loyal customers.
The good news? Atlas is here when you need us most, with a team of highly-trained technicians and unmatched water damage restoration expertise. We're ready to tackle your problem and solve it in an efficient, effective manner, so you can keep your doors open and your clients happy.
As a business owner, you know that one of the best ways to prevent a disaster is to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. For that reason, keep an eye out for the following signs of water damage to your commercial property:

Look for Mold:
Mold can begin to grow just a day or two after water has taken hold of your business. If you see small signs of mold growth in an area where you suspect a leak, contact Atlas National Renovations ASAP to diagnose the problem.

Check Your Pipes:
If it's safe to do so, check out the piping inside and outside your commercial property. You want to keep a keen eye out for oxidation and corrosion around pipe fixtures. While you're at it, check your water heater for rust too. Corrosion or rust is a telltale sign of a water leak.

Check for Rings:
Dark spots on walls and ceilings usually indicate water damage. If you see rings around a stain, the damage is probably older. Several rings with different shades of color mean an intermittent issue, where the area has been soaked and dried several times.

Understand Your Property:
This is more of a suggestion than a sign. As the commercial property owner, you should know your building's pipe system. You should know what is old and new and what areas may be at risk for water damage. Keep an extra-close eye on areas that have a higher potential for leaks, especially during rainstorms.
Benefits of Commercial Water Damage Restoration
in Arlington, TX
When water invades your business or commercial property, you don't have much time to ponder your next course of action. While some business owners opt to try DIY water damage restoration, in most cases, they end up with more damage and expenses than before their leak. For the most effective, comprehensive solution to water damage, it's important that you hire a professional. At Atlas National Renovations, our primary focus is assisting business owners and commercial property managers with water damage restoration. We've been doing it for years, and we can help you too.
Here are just a few of the most common benefits we hear from past customers:

Safe Shopping Experience
If you own a business, the health and safety of your customers is of utmost importance. When water damage occurs inside your storefront, you could be dealing with more than property damage. Depending on the severity of your issue, contaminants and microorganisms may be present, putting your customers' health at risk. When you trust a professional water damage restoration company like Atlas to remediate your water leak, you're not just putting a stop to the leak. Our team will clean and sanitize your business, making it safe for customers to continue shopping at your store.

Professional water damage companies like Atlas respond quickly and can clean up water, dry and disinfect the area, and make necessary repairs. Because we have an entire team of pros and industry-leading equipment, we can be on site in minutes.
Less Damage, Better Costs
Water damage can be very expensive. Sometimes, it only takes a couple of hours to result in heavy losses. How soon you call the experts could mean the difference between painting over a water stain and having to rebuild an entire area of damaged drywall. When you call Atlas immediately, clients often reduce the cost of water damage restoration and overall building damage.
Capital Expenditure Services

Since 1990, the Arlington Museum of Art has partnered with the Arlington Independent School District to host the city’s annual Youth Art Month show. Admission is free. Visit arlingtonmuseum.org/youth-art-month for more information.
Arlington Youth Art Month is held in conjunction with Texas Youth Art Month which is hosted at the Capitol building in Austin. National Youth Art Month is overseen by the Council for Art Education as a way to encourage support for quality K-12 visual art programs.
Chris Hightower, President and CEO of the Arlington Museum of Art, sees this unique partnership with AISD as an important part of the museum’s commitment to encourage young artists, support art education, and engage with the community.
“Art, education, and community engagement form the foundation of the Arlington Museum of Art’s mission,” said Hightower. “Youth Art Month really brings the three together in such a fun way. We especially enjoy welcoming families who come to admire the work of their favorite aspiring artist. And because Youth Art Month is such a long-standing tradition, we’re now welcoming parents back who participated in Youth Art Month when they were in school!”
“The partnership with the Arlington Museum of Art is truly unique and special,” said Linh Nguyen, AISD Assistant Director for Visual Arts. “Both the AISD and the AMA share a love and passion for motivating and inspiring the next generations of artists and planting the seed that gives them a pathway to success.”
The AMA donates 5,500 square feet of gallery space to AISD for the show. “We don’t want an admission fee to be a barrier, especially for families,” said Hightower. For those who wish to financially support the program, shopping at the museum’s gift shop and online/in-person donations help fund Youth Art Month and other educational programs like the annual AMA Summer Art Camp.

For the first time ever, the Arlington Mayor’s Muslim Advisory Council and the Levitt Arlington are co-hosting a public cultural celebration, happening from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Levitt Pavilion in Downtown Arlington on Saturday, March 4. Admission is free.
Open to the entire community, the family-friendly American Muslim Cultural Celebration will feature live entertainment and marketplace shopping for art, fashion, and international cuisine. The event promises an exciting lineup of music artists, cultural performances (including dancing, musical instruments, a robotics presentation, and more!), Quran recitation, and Asr prayer (Islamic afternoon prayer). Special guest speakers slated to appear are Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, State Representative Salman Bhojani, and Dr. Omar Suleiman, an internationally-noted scholar, author, and civil rights leader.
The event is made possible by support from Zio Al's Pizza & Pasta (Platinum Sponsor), Just 7 Lube & Auto Repair (Gold Sponsor) and others, including the event co-host organization, Levitt Arlington. A portion of the fundraising proceeds will be donated to US-based humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
Yaman Subei, who is co-chairing the celebration with Arlington Muslim Advisory Council members Sam Mahrouq and Walid Joulani, said the council created the event to bring together people from all communities, particularly those who may have had limited opportunities to interact with Muslim cultures.
“American Muslims have played a significant role in the community by operating small and large businesses, employing and supporting many families,” said Subei, who is also chair of the Arlington Muslim Advisory Council.
He continued: “For us, the American Dream is real! We often lead in our professions as doctors, counselors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, etc. We are engaged in education and support the community with our donations and in-kind contributions, but we mostly do it under a hidden identity. Unfortunately, we are mostly known to the mass public for a false image extreme radicals have portrayed through media. I hope with this event, we can open up to the greater community so people get to know us. That’s one of the reasons Mayor Ross created the council— to give an elevated voice and a seat at the table for Muslim community members in Arlington—and we appreciate that.”
Subei said that the upcoming celebration is a first for Arlington. “In fact, we’re not aware of any public event in Dallas-Fort Worth that offers this kind of opportunity for non-Muslim community members to experience and enjoy Muslim culture first hand,” he continued.
“The event volunteers are planning an exciting showcase and celebration of secular and religious Muslim culture, including amazing cuisine, memorable cultural performances, and inspirational and insightful remarks from our guest speakers. We invite all members of the public to join us at the beautiful Levitt Pavilion for what’s sure to be a wonderful event.”
Added Letatia Teykl, Executive Director for Levitt Arlington: “The Levitt continually fosters culturally rich programming, which is why we jumped at the opportunity to sponsor this celebration of the wonderful multicultural tapestry that makes Arlington unique. We’re looking forward to welcoming guests for this and other community events and genre-diverse concerts during the 2023 season.”
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food and drink will be available for purchase on site, but coolers are also permitted. (No glass containers or alcoholic beverages allowed). Parking is free and available on all sides of the Levitt and in public parking lots around Downtown.
