 Renovations Euless, TX

Because every property is different, each fire restoration project for apartment buildings is too. However, every fire disaster will have a similar process and will often include:

Contact ANS

Your fire restoration process begins when you call our headquarters. Our specialist will ask you a series of questions about the fire event that occurred. That way, we can arrive on-site with the proper resources and equipment.

Fire Damage Assessment
and Inspection

Our fire damage restoration team will carefully inspect the entirety of your apartment complex, from building to building and room to room. We do so to determine the extent of your apartment's fire, smoke, and soot damage. This step is crucial to developing a comprehensive restoration plan.

Board-Up Services

First responders like firefighters must break windows and cut holes in roofs to slow fire growth and save lives. Once the fire is out, our team can get to work, boarding up holes and constructing temporary fencing around the property.

Water Removal

If there is water damage associated with your apartment fire, we'll remove most of the water immediately. From there, we use air movers and dehumidifiers to help complete the drying process.

Smoke and Soot Removal

Within minutes of a fire, walls, electronics, and other surfaces are covered in soot. Smoke and ash continue to cause damage to every inch of your apartment building. That's why ANS uses specialized equipment to remediate smoke damage and remove odors. This process is often labor-intensive and can take time, especially for large fire damage restoration needs.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

Using a variety of restoration and cleaning techniques, our team will help clean restorable items and sanitize units for safety.

Restoration

Getting your apartment buildings to their pre-fire conditions is our ultimate goal. Depending on the size and scope of the fire restoration job, minor repairs like painting, drywall replacement, and new carpet installation might be needed. You might also need major structural renovations like re-siding, re-roofing, new window installation, floor replacement, and more.

Tips for Preventing Apartment Fires

If you're a property manager or own multifamily residential buildings, the thought of an apartment fire is terrifying. What starts as a small fire can quickly turn into a catastrophic event, with your entire complex up in flames. However, one of the best ways of preventing these fires is to know more about them.

Share these tips with tenants to help prevent deadly apartment fires:

Turn Off Heat Sources

Turn Off Heat Sources

Data shows that a large number of apartment fires begin with cooking. Often, these fires are caused by the ignition of common items like rags, curtains, wallpapers, and bags. Encourage tenants to keep their kitchens and cooking areas clear of combustibles. Never leave a stove unattended for long, and don't leave burners on by themselves. Unintentional mishaps like leaving heat sources on are common causes of fires that can be prevented with a little forethought.

Electrical Safety

Electrical Safety

Like heat sources, electrical malfunctions are also common causes of fires in apartment complexes. It's hard to prevent all electrical malfunctions, but you can tell tenants to avoid bad habits. Tips include never using extension cords as permanent solutions and never using a cable if the third prong is missing.

Appliance Safety

Appliance Safety

Appliances are a part of everyone's lives. They're also standard equipment in most apartment units. But if tenants don't take proper precautions, these useful tools can spark deadly fires.

Tips for Preventing Apartment Fires

No matter how large or small, fires are nightmare scenarios for entrepreneurs with commercial properties. Fire damage can completely ruin storefronts and offices, leaving charred remains and burned-up files before firefighters arrive. To make matters worse, soot and smoke damage ruin your businesses' furniture, HVAC system, carpet, walls, and windows.

To eliminate health hazards and restore your business to its pre-fire condition, you need to bring in a team of professionals with years of experience in fire damage remediation. At ANR, we use commercial-grade equipment and cutting-edge tools to clean up the aftermath of your fire and rebuild your property. That way, you can get back to running your business and providing for your family.

The second Bojangles in the area is expected to open in north Frisco, near U.S. 380 and 423, in late spring or summer 2023.

Bojangles’ 800 fast-food restaurants are known in the Deep South for selling fried chicken, Cajun chicken biscuits, sweet tea and Bo-Berry Biscuits for dessert.

Although the company announced in 2021 that Bojangles’ first three restaurants in North Texas would be in Garland, Richardson and Mesquite, that plan appears to have changed. A press release from early 2023 says construction has started on restaurants in Euless and Lancaster. Construction begins Feb. 13, 2023 in Frisco.

Another Frisco restaurant at 2821 Eldorado Parkway is also in the works, as confirmed by state records.

A fifth Bojangles in Texas, according to state record, will be in San Antonio.

The company started in North Carolina in 1977. It’s now a franchise, with more than 100 stores each in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, and dozens in Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia.

About 50 Bojangles are planned across Texas “in the coming years,” says the company statement.

It’s yet another iconic, out-of-town food brand that’s making a splash in North Texas. Portillo’s, a hot dog and Italian beef sandwich shop that started in Chicago some 60 years ago, is another example. Portillo’s has made plans to open at least five restaurants in North Texas so far.

California burger joint In-N-Out, too, made a strong investment in Texas. After it arrived in 2011, the company has opened more than 40 In-N-Outs in the Lone Star State.

Bojangles will have plenty of deep-fried competition in Dallas-Fort Worth. As reported in a 2021 story: “Raising Cane’s has an operations office in Plano that runs its 550+ restaurants. Golden Chick’s headquarters is in Richardson, and its highest concentration of restaurants is in D-FW. Popeyes, Chick-fil-A and KFC have strong presences in North Texas. And the hottest fried-chicken trend in Texas right now, Nashville hot chicken, has spawned more than two dozen new restaurant concepts.”

Bojangles has signed leases for at least four addresses in Dallas-Fort Worth: Highway 183 and Main Street, Euless; near U.S. 380 and 423, Frisco; 2821 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco; and 790 N. I-35E, Lancaster.

DALLAS & FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corinth Land Company, a leader in the north Texas industrial flex market, continued its acquisition strategy in May of 2023 by closing on the fully leased three building industrial flex complex known as Highway 10 Business Center at 1361 W. Euless Blvd in Euless Texas, consisting of 32,000 SF sitting on 4.4 acres. This acquisition includes 2.8 acres targeted for future development.

“This acquisition was strategic to our acquisition back in December 2022 of South Pipeline Industrial Park by expanding our footprint in the Euless area to 84,000 SF and provides us with an exciting development opportunity and a retail restaurant tenant, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop,” Paun Peters, President of Corinth Land Company, said.

“Finding opportunity in this market is challenging. I am seeing higher cap rates for properties coming on the market resulting in lower prices. The Federal Reserve’s interest rate increases are clearly being felt in the industry,” associate broker, Brooks Trisler, CEO of i-Lead® Realty Group, an affiliate of eXp Realty, said. “In this changing market, we are negotiating an extended due diligence process to help our clients really make sense of the deal. I believe the process we executed to assist Corinth Land Company acquire the Highway 10 Business Center was a home run.”

“i-Lead® Realty Group’s experience and knowledge of the Dallas-Fort Worth industrial market was a valuable asset as we were able to negotiate a non-traditional deal structure that created significant value for Corinth Land Company,” Danny Peters, Sales Agent for eXp Realty and team member of the i-Lead® Realty Group said.

As fans of Deep South fried chicken chain Bojangles might say, it’s Bo Time in Texas.

The first Bojangles in Texas opens June 27, 2023 in Euless, near DFW International Airport. Restaurants in Frisco, Lancaster and Little Elm are expected to open by the end of the year, bringing fried chicken and Bo-Berry Biscuit desserts to the Lone Star State.

“Texas is our gateway to the West,” said Mike Caroti, market director for the company and one of several people overseeing Bojangles’ expansion into Texas and other states.

The company is so proud of their buttermilk biscuits that the Euless store has a “biscuit theater” — a glassed-in area where customers can watch Bojangles cooks roll the dough and toss it in the oven. This Bojangles has an “expansion market” menu and restaurant design, which is slightly different than the Deep South restaurants, but still familiar.

The menu has been modernized, said Marshall Scarborough, vice president of menu and culinary innovation. Whereas North Carolinians might order a Cajun Chicken Filet Biscuit Combo (which is a fried chicken breast on a biscuit), that same sandwich in Texas is plumper, with hand-breaded chicken, and called Bo’s Chicken Biscuit Combo. Another example: Chicken tenders are called Supremes in parts of the Deep South, but at the new North Texas stores, they’re simply Bo’s Chicken Tenders. The chicken still has Cajun seasoning on it, like it always has. But there’s no bone-in chicken on the menu here; Scarborough said the demand isn’t there.

North Carolina transplant Ari Sen ate Bojangles’ food in Euless during a media event and said the restaurant brought back memories of being home.

“Tarheel Texas transplants will be satisfied,” he said. Sen is a Dallas Morning News investigative reporter, but he moonlighted as a Bojangles expert. Bojangles is his first stop every time he flies home.

“This is like the Cajun filet I never knew I needed,” he said about the plumper version of the fast-food combo he used to order at least once a week in high school.

All Texas restaurants will have the Bo-Berry Biscuit, the North Carolina restaurant’s most beloved dessert. At the newer restaurants west of the North Carolina headquarters, menus also include a Bo-Berry milkshake, a lavender-colored dessert with a berry essence.

Is this new milkshake a Bo-Berry Biscuit replacement on a hot summer day?

“Oh no,” Sen said. That’s not a knock on the shake. Nothing can replace Bojangles’ famous blueberry-flavored biscuit with ribbons of icing on top, he said. Texas restaurants also sell peach cobbler.

Sen has been waiting months for Bojangles to open. Bojangles is so intertwined with North Carolina culture that basketball fans at UNC chant “we want biscuits” when the team gets close to scoring 100 points. Over the years, Bojangles has sold $1 sausage biscuits after big-scoring games, further incentivizing athletes to play well in a basketball-loving state.

Bojangles’ fry seasoning, which is sold in-store for $2.99 per shaker, is another nostalgic moment for Sen. Bojangles serves thick-cut fries tossed in fry seasoning and served with the choice of six sauces: ranch, jalapeño ranch, peach honey pepper, honey mustard, creamy Buffalo and barbecue. The fries were served piping hot. They’re so good that Sen believes if you’ve got a sore throat, a Bojangles combo meal can help. Eat the fries first, he said; it dries you out. Then the biscuit; it coats your throat. Wash it down with Cheerwine, a cherry-flavored soda from North Carolina.

Does it work?

Better question: Does it matter?

So far, the Texas restaurants will not serve Cheerwine. North Carolinians might miss it, but Scarborough said most Texans may not even know about it.

Chef Scarborough was born and raised in Winston-Salem, N.C., and grew up eating Bojangles long before he got a job streamlining the company’s menu in 2020.

“It’s kind of surreal,” he said. “I went out and traveled and realized some people have no clue [about Bojangles].” The store in Euless marks the 801st Bojangles restaurant in the company’s nearly 46 years in business.

Superfans have been driving by the restaurant for weeks or more, pulling on the door to see if it’s open. It’s almost Bo Time.

“That’s why we have to keep the door locked,” said operating partner Shannon Prim.

Texas’ first Bojangles is at 201 E. Euless Blvd., Euless. It’s expected to open June 27, 2023.

The arrival of Cajun fried chicken chain Bojangles in Texas draws near, with the first location just south of DFW Airport at 201 E. Euless Blvd. in Euless, opening on June 27 — giving Texans a chance to see what all the fuss is about.

On June 21, the chain hosted a small media preview at the new restaurant, offering a chance to sample the chicken and biscuits and chat with company reps.

"Why Texas for us? Texas is a large enough state to be a country," said Mike Caroti, market director for Bojangles. "Texas is the gateway to the West for us."

Bojangles was founded in North Carolina in 1977, and is now a publicly traded company with 800 restaurants primarily in the southeast. Euless will be No. 801, followed in August by locations in Frisco at 1631 US-380; and Lancaster at 760 N Interstate 35-E Rd.

Little Elm, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston are next in line for Texas, with plans for New York and Las Vegas in the future.

Part of their expansion to new markets entailed a simplification of the menu, says Bojangles' VP of menu & culinary innovation Marshall Scarborough, with a focus on tenders and chicken sandwiches only. Goodbye to bone-in options such as drumsticks and thighs.

"This menu was designed specifically to be operationally friendly and to streamline the customer experience," Scarborough says. "That's the biggest reason why you won't see bone-in chicken on the menu."

This puts them in the category of a Raising Cane's, the chicken-tender chain that has been a huge hit in Texas with nearly 200 locations, including 20 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone. You begin to see why Bojangles is here.

You can get 4 tenders with the usual array of sauces for $6 to $7, or in a sandwich with a pickle on a shiny toasted bun for about $5. The company claims its honey mustard sauce has a cult following, with people from around the country purportedly calling restaurants and begging them to mail out honey mustard packets.

Bojangles' other staple is their buttermilk biscuits, which are of medium height, crunchy outside, flaky within. They make a theatrical case for homemade authenticity by taking a page from Krispy Kreme's famed doughnut-making display, with a glass screen that lets customers see cooks rolling dough on a floured board and cutting out the biscuit circles en route to the oven.

Sides include mac & cheese, dirty rice, Cajun pintos, and seasoned fries. Desserts include a biscuit spiked with blueberries and iced, and a fried sweet potato pie. A new Bo-Berry milkshake is unique to the expansion market menus.

For those who wish Chick-Fil-A's chicken biscuit breakfast lasted beyond 10:30 am, Bo’s Chicken Biscuit Combo (as with all of the breakfast menu) is available until 2 pm. Breakfast sandwiches feature eggs, sausage, bacon, and ham on a biscuit, served in combos with "Bo-Tatos" — like a hash browns Tater Tot.

"We are a fun brand with bold flavor and high-quality delicious food," Scarborough says. "Our motto is 'Bo Time' — about people getting together that are enjoying Bojangles' food and the next thing you know, everybody is having a good time. It's part of our culture."
